A- FITTING INSTRUCTIONS AND DIRECTIONS FOR USE

This device has been designed exclusively for fixing plasterboard panels under ceiling and horizontally fixing of the
plasterboard when pitches. Any other use of this equipment is strictly forbidden and no responsibility can then be
assumed by the manufacturer.
Make sure that this device is not used in open premises which might be exposed to violent winds.
The wheels of the panel lifter DEXTER must be on level ground (max. slope 3%) without any major obstacle.
WORKING LOAD LIMIT 65KG
Any modification to the arms, including for an use other than that provided for by the manufacturer, is forbidden.
This device is a hand-operated lifting device used to fix plasterboard panels.
Read the indicator plate on the device carefully.
1) Adjustment before use
Once the device has been assembled, perform the various adjustments before using the DEXTER® PANEL
LIFTER.
Adjust the head extension tube according to the fixing height required. (See the table below)

Depending on the dimensions of the plasterboard panels to be fitted, adjust the opening of the arms in
accordance with the table below.

To perform this adjustment, separate the arm extensions from the beam, removing the clip pins, so as to be
able to adjust the arm extensions to the required position and thus obtain the desired opening of the arms.
Lock the arm extensions with the clip pins.
Position the panels so that the load is evenly distributed.

B- SAFETY RULES

Make sure that:
- All the elements are perfectly assembled,
- Nothing impairs the proper working of the panel lifter DEXTER®
- Before lifting a load:
ｏ Make function the panel lifter DEXTER® and check the general state of the device.
ｏ Make absolutely sure that the cable is correctly wound on the winch's drum, and check its position in the
groove of the corresponding pulley.
ｏ Lock the 2 wheels provided with a brake.
ｏ Make sure that the column is clean.
