D - TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE
If there is apparently a fault on the panel lifter DEXTER®, go through the following points before asking
for it to be repaired, taking all necessary safety precautions (wear a helmet, goggles and gloves).
If the device is locked in the raised position, make sure that the plasterboard panel is fixed at the
ceiling or secure this by means of supports, before attempting to unlock it.

E- PROCEDURE FOR CHANGING THE TWO CABLES
Material required:
One 6mm Allen key (supplied with the device)
Pliers
One 10mm wrench

F - TRANSPORTING THE PANEL LIFTER DEXTER®
1) Transport
In order to make transport, the panel lifter DEXTER® is broken down into 3 elements:
- The frame (11 kg) – the beam and head assembly (7.4 kg) – the feet equipped with wheels (4.6 kg)
2) Transport on the building site
The panel lifter DEXTER® is equipped with three 100 mm dia. wheels with brakes.
The transport handle on which the winch is fixed enables the operator to guide the panel lifter DEXTER®
G - WARRANTY
This device is guaranteed against manufacturing defects for 5 years from its date of purchase mentioned on
the retailer's invoice.
Damage caused by normal wear (wheels, pulleys, cable, winch, arm shoes with spring, arm pads), misuse,
abnormal maintenance or overload (paragraphs B-C-D of this manual) is not covered by this warranty.
H - END OF LIFE OF THE PRODUCTS
The metallic parts must be separated from the plastic components in order to ensure recycling in accordance
with the regulations in force.
POSSIBLE CAUSE
Cables stuck and/or damaged Check the passage of the cables and their condition
Columns locked
Cable cut, thus blocking the
fall prevention system
Device used with no load,

Excess winch grease
Lock washers inoperative
Presence of foreign matter
The pawl remains locked

CORRECTION
Check the cleanness of the columns
Replace the cable, the cam, the pulley and the spring
To release the cable, operate the winch in the "Up"
direction
Check the condition the lock washers and the
support
Check the condition of the washers
Clean the device
Clean the pawl pin and grease it with a paraffin oil
One 8mm wrench (supplied with the device)
Circlip pliers
1 cable spare kit, ref.: PR0155 (consisting of a cable, a
cam, a pulley, a winch drum and a spring)
