Battery Replacement
Remove the battery compartment cover and replace the depleted batteries with two 1.5V AAA
(LR03) batteries, observing the correct polarity as indicated inside the compartment. Replace the
battery compartment cover.

Error message Problem
Operating temperature is outside the acceptable range of
15 °C – 35 °C (59 °F – 95 °F)
Ear/Forehead temperature is above 43 °C (109.4 °F) or
surface temperature above 100 °C (212 °F).
Ear/Forehead temperature below 34 °C (93.2 °F) or
surface temperature below 0 °C (32 °F).
