1. Never use the meter when the rear cover is not closed properly, for fear of electric shock.
2. Before use, check that the probe insulation is intact and without rupture or wire breakage.
3. When "
" symbol appears on LCD, please replace or charge the battery in time to ensure accurate measurement.
4. Set the function/range switch to a proper position.
5. Do not allow the measured signal to go beyond the specified limit, for fear of electric shock and damage to the meter.
6. Never change the position of the range switch during measurement, for fear of damage to the meter.
7. After measurement, disconnect the probes from the measured circuit; after current measurement, switch off the power and then disconnect
the probes from the measured circuit. This is more important for measurement of heavy current.
8. Be cautious to prevent electric shock when the measured voltage is higher than DC 30V or AC 30Vrms.
9. Do not use the meter in a high-temperature and high-humidity environment. In particular, do not store the meter in a humid environment, for
fear of performance degradation.
10. Do not modify the internal wiring of the meter without permission, for fear of damage to the meter and personal injury.
11. During maintenance and repair, the meter casing shall be cleaned with a wet cloth and mild cleaning agents rather than grinding agents or
solvents.
