SYMPTOM
The light will not come on.

SPECIFICATIONS

TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE

POSSIBLE CAUSE
1. Light switch is turned off.
2. Fuse is blown or circuit breaker is turned off.
3. Daylight turn-off (photocell) is in effect.
4. The circuit wiring is incorrect, if this is a new
installation.
5. The motion sensor is aimed in the wrong
direction.
6. The outside air temperature is close to the
same as a person's body heat.
7. The light has been turned "OFF" using the
app.
1. The motion sensor may be installed in a
relatively dark location.
2. The "Full Brite Setting" in the app is set to
"TEST".
1. The motion sensor may be sensing small
animals or automobile traffic.
2. Sensitivity is set too high.
3. The "DualBrite Duration" in the app is in
the 3 hour, 6 hour, or dusk-to-dawn setting.
4. The outside temperature is much warmer or
cooler than a person's body heat (summer or
winter).
5. The light fixture is wired through a dimmer
or timer.
The light fixture may be installed in a relatively
dark location.

SOLUTION
1. Turn light switch on.
2. Replace fuse or turn circuit breaker on.
3. Recheck after dark.
4. Verify wiring is correct.
5. Re-aim the motion sensor to cover the
desired area.
6. Increase the sensitivity setting. See Seasonal
Changes on page 5 for more information.
7. Use the app to set the light to "AUTO"
mode.
1. The light fixture is operating normally under
these circumstances.
2. Set the "Full Brite Setting" in the app to the
1, 5, or 20 minute setting.
1. Decrease the sensitivity setting or reposition
the motion sensor.
2. Decrease the sensitivity setting.
3. The light fixture is operating normally under
these circumstances.
4. Decrease the sensitivity setting. See Seasonal
Changes on page 5 for more information.
5. Do not use a dimmer or timer to control the
light fixture. Replace the dimmer or timer
with a standard on/off wall switch.
Relocate the light fixture or use the 3 hour or 6
hour setting.
