Maintenance
Do not attempt to repair or service the meter unless you are a qualified professional technician and have sufficient instructions for calibration,
performance testing and repair, except for replacing batteries and fuse.
When not in use, store the meter in a dry environment without strong electromagnetic field.
General maintenance
Wipe the casing regularly with a damp cloth and a little detergent. Do not use abrasives or solvents. If the terminal is dirty or wet, it may reduce
the accuracy of reading. Proceed as below to clean the terminal:
1. Turn off the meter and remove the test leads.
2. Shake off the dust that may be present in the terminals.
3. Take a new cotton swab dipped in alcohol and clean the inside of each input terminal.
- Servicing
If the meter fails, first check the batteries and fuse, and then consult this manual to make sure the meter has been used correctly.
