The Venice system allows for the following configurations:
- one single-button camera connected to 7 additional six-button panels, for a total of 43 buttons (including the camera button) connected to the Venice
camera.
- one three-button camera connected to 2 additional six-button panels, for a total of 15 buttons (including the camera button) connected to the Venice
camera.
Each additional panel must be encoded for signal routing.
For this purpose simply set the dip switches on the panel printed circuit board as shown in the table.

4.2 MONITOR ENCODING

WITH SINGLE BUTTON CAMERA
If 1 to 7 additional panels are installed,
encode the monitors as shown in the table.
Each camera and additional panel button can
be encoded for one or more monitors.
WARNING: Each button must be set to a
different monitor code.
The table shows the monitor dip switch
settings.
Each monitor must correspond to a camera or
additional panel button.
The table gives a few sample monitor encodings.
Monitor dip switches 1 to 4 correspond to the call button code.
Monitor dip switches 5 to 7 correspond to the additional panel code.
Do not set monitor dip switches 8 and 9.
Dip switch 10 should be set only on the last monitor of the chain to improve the video
signal.
Example 1 shows the encoding for button 5 on additional panel 1 (MONITOR 6).
Example 2 shows the encoding for button 3 on additional panel 2 (MONITOR 10).
