1.1 SPECIAL FEATURES
- Venice is a modular video entry panel system based on the BUS
technology.
- It is ideal for installation in apartment buildings (and also single houses)
without the proliferation of wires and switchboards usually required for
multiple apartments configurations.
- The Venice system employs call button encoding which is decoded by
dip switches on the monitors. This makes for quick, foolproof
installation.
- With a single camera and 7 additional six-button panels up to 43
apartments can be connected to the call buttons. Each apartment can
be equipped with two monitors even if only a single call button is
connected.
- Each monitor can be connected to an additional camera with call button
(MIKE model) for the private entrance. The user can thus switch
between viewing the public entrance and his private entrance at the
press of a button.
- Each call button features a handy name plate which is illuminated in low
light thanks to an automatic sensor in the camera.
- The caller can be seen without any additional lighting. Six infrared leds
measure the external light level to enable caller identification in any
area, even at night, without any lighting installation.
- When a second personal camera is installed outside the user's
apartment, the monitor displays the caller at the panel from which the
call has been made.
- The cameras can be activated by pressing the appropriate camera
button without caller intervention.
- Automatic caller identification: when a caller presses the call button, the
internal monitor is automatically activated. Thus the camera area can
be viewed without talking to the caller.
- The system functions as a visual intercom/entry panel system with
integral 4 inch monitor and one or two external cameras.
- The Venice camera unit and the panels are only 99 mm wide and can
be mounted on small standard columns.
- The external camera and the additional panels are weatherproof and do
not require unattractive weather housings. Each call button is protected
by a separate rain shield.
- A pedestrian entrance gate or, alternatively, an automatic driveway gate
can be opened from each monitor.
