LED INDICATOR (See Fig. 14)
Your tractor has several sensors on board to aid in opera-
tion and help maintain proper health. The LED indicator
informs the operator about the status of some of those on
-board sensors.
1. Tilt – The tilt icon will illuminate when the on-board
accelerometer senses the tractor at a slope greater
than 15 degrees. If the slope is greater than or equal
to 30 degrees then the icon will illuminate and the
tractor will proactively turn off the blades. If the slope
is greater than or equal to 60 degrees then the icon
will illuminate and the tractor will proactively shut off
the engine.
2. PTO – The PTO icon will illuminate when the PTO
switch is engaged.
3. Bluetooth
®
– The Bluetooth icon will illuminate when
the tractor is connected to a Bluetooth wireless tech-
nology enabled device such as a cell phone or tablet.
4. Battery – The battery icon will illuminate when the bat-
tery voltage has dropped to less than 12.4V. It will also
illuminate if the battery voltage has exceeded 15.0V.
5. Oil Pressure – The oil pressure icon will illuminate
when the oil pressure switch senses low oil pressure
in the engine.
6. Park Brake – The park brake icon will illuminate when
the park brake is engaged.
WARNING: Do not drive up or down
hills with slopes greater than 15
degrees and do not drive across any
slope. Do not rely on the tilt indicator
to warn the operator of exceeding slope
requirements. The tilt indicator is a
secondary warning device to further
enhance the operator experience.

This tractor is equipped with a buzzer that emits an audible
noise to draw the operator's attention to the LED indicator
when a fault occurs. The corresponding icon will illuminate
to inform you of the current fault. Please refer to the chart
as a reference guide to the buzzer:

BEFORE STARTING THE ENGINE

CHECK ENGINE OIL LEVEL

The engine in your tractor has been shipped from the fac-
tory already filled with sum mer weight oil.
Check engine oil with tractor on level ground.
Unthread and remove oil fill cap/dipstick; wipe oil off.
Reinsert the dipstick into the tube and rest oil fill cap
on the tube. Do not thread the cap onto the tube.
Remove and read oil level. If necessary, add oil until
"FULL " mark on dipstick is reached. Do not overfill.
For cold weather operation you should change oil for
easier starting. (See "OIL VISCOSITY CHART" in the
Maintenance sec tion of this manual.)
To change engine oil, see the Maintenance section in
this manual.
ADD GASOLINE
Fill fuel tank to bottom of filler neck. Do not overfill.
Use fresh, clean, regular gasoline with a minimum of
87 octane. Do not mix oil with gasoline. Purchase fuel
in quantities that can be used within 30 days to ensure
2
fuel freshness.
IMPORTANT: WHEN OPERATING IN TEMPERATURES
BELOW 32°F (0°C), USE FRESH, CLEAN WINTER GRADE
GASOLINE TO HELP ENSURE GOOD COLD WEATHER
STARTING.
