gENERAL TOOL ASSEMBLY
This step requires two adults. The DELTA
careful when lifting and handling it! Failure to comply may cause serious injury and/or damage to the
machine and/or property!
TOOLS REqUIREd
• ½" wrench
• Slotted screw driver
Before beginning assembly, clean all rust protected
surfaces with a mild solvent. Do not use paint or
lacquer thinner, gasoline, or mineral spirits; as these will
damage painted surfaces.
• With the aid of a second adult, carefully tilt the
machine onto its side with the control panel facing up.
• Remove the drum and set it aside.
• Extend the telescoping uprights by carefully pulling
the base while holding the top steady. Extend
the telescoping uprights until the holes (A) in the
bottom uprights align with those in the top. See
Fig. 3.
• Insert twelve 5/16" x ¾" Phillips head screws
through the holes (A) in the three telescoping
uprights and attach using 5/16" lock washers and
5/16" hex nuts. Hand tighten only.
• Attach the unit casters using sixteen 5/16" x ¾"
hex head screws and 5/16" x flat washers and ½"
wrench. See Fig. 4.

into the upright position. Tighten the bolts in the
telescoping uprights (C) using a ½" socket wrench
and Philips screwdriver. See Fig. 5.
