Carefully read the user instructions before assembling, adjusting or using the Actimo Wheelchair for the first
time. Keep the user instructions in a safe place so that they are available for later use. The user instructions con-
tain all the information necessary for the adjustment and operation of the Actimo Wheelchair. If you have any
questions or require further information, please contact your specialist dealer.
Intended Purpose
The Actimo Wheelchair is designed for indoor and outdoor use and is intended exclusively for the self-transport
or assisted transport of people. Suitable for patients who, for example, cannot walk due to paralysis, physical
weakness or cardiovascular disease and therefore need assistance with movement. The companion moves the
wheelchair by pushing on the push handles provided for this.
Indications
The Actimo Wheelchair can be used in the event of restricted mobility of the legs and knee joints and the upper
limbs, loss of strength, balance and slight visual impairment, inability to walk and / or a severe walking impedi-
ment
• Paralysis
• Loss of limbs
• Malfunction or deformity of the limbs
• Joint damage or joint contractures (not on both arms)
• Other illnesses
Instructions / Assembly: Have this carried out by your specialist dealer / care assistant
1. Remove all the individual parts from the cardboard box and check the contents and the packaging for
damage and completeness.
2. The wheelchair is delivered pre-assembled. Hold the wheelchair firmly by the handles and slowly fold it
apart.
3. To fold out the wheelchair, using both hands press down on the sides of the seat area until it locks into
place. Take care not to hold the frame to avoid injury to the fingers.
4. Hang the mounts on which the foot flaps are mounted in the frame on the right and left of the wheel-
chair and turn them inwards, they audibly click into place. Fold the foot flaps down and adjust the
height, to do so, loosen the locking nuts on both sides and pull out the mount to the desired length be-
fore re-tightening the locking nuts. Additional support is provided by the belt on the mounts.
