Mounting Feed wheel • Screw the three handles (A) to the feed wheel (B). CAUTION Always use the tool with the feed wheel properly mounted. Cooling system WARNING Never operate the magnetic drill without using coolant, or when drilling horizontally, a suitable cutting paste.
Mounting Bits and accessories CAUTION The annular cutters are very sharp. It is recommended that the operator wears protection when handling it for installation or removal. • Check that the cutter is sharp and does not have any damage. CAUTION No cutters should be used damaged or dull.
Start up CAUTION The drill can only be used in uncoated tempered steel. Make sure the surface is free of paint and loose rust before attempting to drill. Material that has been cut with flame CAUTION can be converted into heat-treated material and therefore is difficult to puncture.
Maintenance Cleaning and care • Clean the machine with a soft cloth, moistened with soap and water, preferably after each use. • Always keep the vents clean and unobstructed to ensure proper motor cooling. • Regularly inspect all mounting screws and make sure they are properly tightened.
