Spring CUSH arms (SCUSH) have specific instructions for mounting the SCUSH shoe. Otherwise, SCUSH arms install like a regular CUSH arm.
DO NOT reduce the closer's backcheck setting! Spring
CUSH arm function does not replace backcheck.

Locating
In new installations, use the standard CUSH template. When replacing an existing CUSH arm, use the existing mounting holes.

Installation
a. Mount the shoe onto the frame.
b. Use a 5/32" or 4mm hex wrench to install the contact block assembly, as shown below. Make sure the screw is tightened securely
into the shoe.

Completing installation
Complete the closer installation as directed for regular CUSH arms on page 2.

CUSH Shoe Support limited to reveals between 1Z\zn" and 1ZC\zn".

Set CUSH Shoe Support on top of the shoe and hold against the frame.

Assemble the screw, washer, and nut as shown below, and tighten securely.

Using the shoe support as a template, drill and tap two holes for 1/4-20 screws in the frame.

Insert the screws and tighten securely.

Should frames have 1/2" Blade Stop, it is necessary to use a 1/2" Blade Stop Spacer, available from your dealer. Use
