Changing the scorer to record a video
POWERING ON + OFF
1. Plug in the power adapter.
2. Turn the switch to "WIFI/REC" position.
CONNECTIONG THE APP TO THE SCORER
Go to your device WiFi setting and pair with the
WiFi named
"MD Basketball Game 1658437"
Password:
12345.
Note:
• The wireless connection is restricted to one device at a time.
• In order for the Wifi to work properly, the paired device must stay within 10 feet of the games scorer.
Recording A Video
1/ After pairing your device with the WiFi, open the MD Sports REC SHOT app.
2/ Type in name for Player 1 and Player 2.
3/ Select 30 or 45 second game time.
4/ Click "Enter".
5/ Click "Start" to begin the game and recording.
• The game will start after 10 seconds.
• All shots are worth 2 points until last 10 seconds, when each shot is worth 3 points.
• The player with the most points when time expires, wins.
Note:
• If wireless is disconnnected or the memory card is full, the recording will automatically stop.
• The scorer will be restarted by triggering the scoring paddle that is located below the rim.
Playing Back Videos and Photos on a Mobile Device
To play back videos or photos on your device, you must first download the files to your device.
The donwloaded video and photos will be saved to your devices photo album.
1/ After recording, click "FILES" icon.
2/ Select a file and click "Download".
• For Android system, the downloaded video file will be automatically compressed to mp4 format for easy
share and upload to the web.
3/ Go to your
devices photo album
Note:
• Wireless must stay connected while downloading the file.
• The original file will be saved on the scorers memory card, even after it has been transfered to
the mobile device.
