Adjust the riving knife.
Replace the table insert, the riving knife and the blade guard.
Setting the mitre angle (fig. A1)
Loosen the lock knobs (9).
Set the required mitre angle using the scale (10).
Tighten the lock knobs.
Setting the bevel angle (fig. A1)
Loosen the lock knob (6).
Set the required bevel angle. The setting can be read from the scale (7).
Tighten the lock knob.
Adjusting the combined parallel guide and mitre fence (fig. F & G)
The guide fence is used for parallel guiding or sawing mitre cuts with the machine set up in the table saw
position. The guide fence can be mounted both to the left and to the right of the saw blade.
Slide the guide fence (17) with the holder (31) in the guide rail (32).
Loosen the set screw (33) and set the protractor (34) at 0°.
Tighten the adjusting screw.
Move the guide fence until it is in front of the saw blade. Tighten the lock knob (35).
Loosen the lock knob (36). Set the guide fence so that the guide profile (37) is just out of reach from the
saw blade.
Tighten the lock knobs.
Use a set square to check the angle between the protractor and the saw blade. If the angle does not
measure 90° adjust as follows:
Loosen the set screw (33) and turn the guide fence so that the profile is at a 90° angle.
Tighten the adjusting screw.
Loosen the screw (38) and adjust the pointer (39) so that it registers 0°. Tighten the screw.
Setting the guide fence for straight cross-cutting (fig. F & G)
Slide the guide fence (17) with the holder (31) in the guide rail (32).
Set the protractor (34) at 0°.
Set the guide fence so that the guide profile (37) is just out of reach from the saw blade.
Setting the guide fence for mitre cutting (fig. F & G)
The mitre angle is infinitely variable from 0 – 45°.
Slide the guide fence (17) with the holder (31) in the guide rail (32).
Set the desired mitre angle using the scale on the protractor (34).
Set the guide fence so that the guide profile (37) is just out of reach from the saw blade.
Setting the guide fence for ripping (fig. F & H)
Slide the guide fence (17) with the holder (31) in the guide rail (40).
Set the protractor (34) at 0°.
Set the desired distance using the scale on the table top (18).
Tighten the lock knob (35).
Set the guide fence so that the guide profile (37) is parallel to the saw blade.
Instructions for use
Check whether the guide fence has been mounted correctly (when using the machine in the table saw
position).
Switch on the machine before the workpiece makes contact with the saw blade.
Do not exert pressure on the saw blade. Allow the machine enough time to cut the workpiece.
If the saw blade comes to a standstill or decelerates, the machine is being overloaded. Immediately stop
sawing and let the motor cool down by leaving the machine running idle for some time.
