Prior to installation and use of this equipment, record the product identification information from the ID label in the Inspection and
Maintenance Log (Table 2) at the back of this manual.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
Figure 1 illustrates the 3M™ DBI-SALA™ Roof Top Counterweight Anchor. The Roof Top Counterweight Anchor is a single point anchorage connector
for a personal fall arrest system designed to be installed on a flat surface.
Figure 2 illustrates components of the Roof Top Counterweight Anchor. See Table 1 for Component Specifications. The Roof Top Counterweight
Anchor is comprised of an Attachment Point (B) fastened to the Roof Top Anchor (A). This is fastened to the Counterweight Plates (F) and Plastisol
Coated Counterweight Plates (G) with L-Bolts (C), Washers (E), and Nuts (D). The Fall Arrest subsystem connects to the Attachment Point (B).

Capacity:
1 Person with a combined weight (clothing, tools, etc.) of no more than 310 lbs (140 kg).
Anchorage:
Fall Arrest: The structure to which the Anchorage Connector is installed on must sustain static loads applied in the
directions permitted by the Fall Arrest System of at least: 5000 lbs (22.2 kN).
The Roof Top Counterweight Anchor must not be used in adverse weather conditions. The roof surface must be free of
frost, snow, standing water, grease or oil, or any other type of lubricating or friction reducing materials.

Static Load: The roof must be able to support a static load of 735 lb (334 kg).
