CHAIN BRAKE
Ensure chain brake is unlocked by pulling the front
hand guard back toward the front handle as far as
possible. The chain brake must be unlocked before
cutting with the saw.

the engine runs at idle speed. If the chain
moves at idle speed refer to CARBURETOR
ADJUSTMENT within this manual.

STARTING A COLD ENGINE
NOTE: In the following steps, when the choke lever
setting for starting is set automatically.
