QUICK CONFIGURATION GUIDE
1. INTRODUCTION
The DT-421D module is a converter from ASI to IP that allows you to
link an IP network with a MPEG-2 ASI network.
The output connector must be connected to an IP network, carrying
MPEG-2 transport stream packets. All four inputs work with MPEG-2 streams
in ASI format.
Each one of the services or even the input TS is packed inside a IP /
UDP or IP / RTP / UDP stream with an IP (Multicast) and an UDP port
specified by the user. The streams are made up of IP packets containing 7
packets MPEG-2
The figure below shows the format of the Ethernet generated
streams, indicating the header of each network layer:
