QUICK CONFIGURATION GUIDE DT-421D
4. DT-421D CONFIGURATION
The configuration menu DT-421D allows you to configure some
parameters that affect the input signal. CONFIGURATION menu options for
the DT-421D module are following ones:
-
Ethernet Configuration
It allows you to change some module parameters in the network. It
has a sub-menu with some options to define access parameters: IP
address, mask and gateway. All these fields are numeric.
-
SAP / SDP
It enables or disables the protocol SAP / SDP (Session Announcement
Protocol / Session Description Protocol) which acts over the whole
module. This protocol defines initialisation parameters of a streaming
multimedia session and gives multicast session information.
-
Config SPTS / MPTS
It allows the user to select between the operating mode SPTS or
MPTS (read introductory chapter for details) independently for each
ASI.
-
ASI Input (1 to 4).
It allows the user to set various parameters of the Transport Stream -
IP at the module output:
Service Name: It allows the user to see the name of the selected
service (only for SPTS configuration).
IP Address: It allows the user to assign an IP output to the selected
service.
UDP DST Port: Destination port used by the UDP protocol to send
IP-ASI.
UDP SRC Port: Source port of the equipment used by the UDP
protocol to send the IP-ASI.
RTP / UDP Protocol: It allows the user to choose between UDP or
RTP protocol communication.
Enable / Disable: It allows enabling / disabling, in any TS-IP, the IP
address range assignment to a stream by default.
When the control module detects that the same IP address is
assigned to two different streams, it will change the IP of one of them
to resolve the conflict.
