Conversion of flow velocities into an electric signal.
No assembly in downpipes open towards the bottom.
Use in buildings and outdoors (avoid high ambient temperatures and direct UV irradiation).
Environment with max. pollution degree of 3.
Voltage supply of overvoltage category II.
The flow switch is used to monitor whether the flow exceeds or drops below specified flow values, e.g. to prevent
pumps from dry running. The analogue signal should only be used as a trend indicator in order to monitor process
changes, such as filter blocking.
Only use the flow switch in applications that lie within its technical performance limits.
→ For performance limits see chapter 9 "Specifications".
Refrain from unauthorised modifications to the flow switch.
Any use beyond or different to the intended use is considered as improper use.
The manufacturer shall not be liable for claims of any type based on operation contrary to the intended use.
