Selecting an FM/AM station

Connect the antenna if you want to listen to the FM/AM (+ P. 3).
[AM radio is available only for North America model.]

If you press DISPLAY on the remote control, the information shown on the front panel display will be switched in the
following order.

LISTENING TO FM/AM STATIONS

1 Press the RADIO source button repeatedly to
switch the audio source to FM or AM.
You can also switch the audio source by pressing RADIO on the
remote control.
2 Tuning FM/AM stations.
Automatic tuning: Press and hold TUNING
Manual tuning: Press TUNING
If you tune to a station manually while receiving FM, the sound
will be monaural.
Preset number and frequency
* Examples of reception status indication (the STEREO/MONO
indication is not shown while receiving an AM broadcast).
TUNED/STEREO: A strong FM stereo broadcast is
being received.
TUNED/MONO: A monaural FM broadcast is being
received (even if the FM broadcast is
stereo, reception will be monaural if
the signal is weak).
Not TUNED: No broadcast is being received.
