Installation Instructions

Please read this entire installation guide as well as the safe
operation instructions in your lawn mower manual before
beginning assembly. This lawn striping kit is designed for use
with the 28" wide cut lawn mower.
To install the striper kit proceed as follows:
1. Locate the holes in the rear bottom corners, on the sides of
the frame. There is one on the right and one on the left.
2. For each side, thread a hex screw (ref. part #1) through a
washer (part #7). See Figure 1-1.
3. Thread the proper roller bracket onto the end of the screw
so that when fully assembled the side with the smaller
offset hole is toward the top. See inset in Figure 1-1.
4. Slide a torsion spring (part #6) and a spacer (part #8) onto
the hex screw making sure that the end of the torsion
spring fits into the smaller offset hole on the roller bracket.
Make sure the shoulder side of the spacer fits snugly into
the roller bracket. Torsion spring functions as intended
when flipped to either side. See Figure 1-1.
