GRADES OF SANDING SHEET

NOTE To maximise the quality of the task, always use good quality sanding sheets. Always test the
Sander on a scrap piece of material to determine whether the sanding sheet is suitable for the intended
task:
Coarse (80 grit) for use sanding bare wood in preparation for finishing, gentle removal of varnish.
Medium (120 grit) for sanding bare wood in preparation for finishing not suitable for the removal of varnish.
Fine (240 grit) for sanding finishes in-between coats.
IMPORTANT Do not use sanding sheets designed for wet sanding.
FITTING THE SHEETS
5" DIAMETER HOOK AND LOOP SANDING
PAD (4) is a press fit onto the HOOK AND LOOP
SANDING BASE (3). Ensure that sanding sheet is
secure before using the tool.
