3. OPERATION

3.1 Automatic operation of the floats switch:
The float switch (4) turns the pump on automatically when the water level exceeds
the cut-in height and the water is pumped out. The float switch (4) turns the pump off
again as soon as the water level falls below the cut-out height.
The cable lenght between the float switch lock (4) must always be least 10 cm.
- The shorter the length of cable between the float switch 4 and the float switch lock
(5), the lower the cut-in height and the higher the cut-out height.
3.2. Manual operation of the float switch
The pump can remain constantly in operation beacuse it is switched on manually by
raising the float switch 4 as showed on the left.

- Stand the pump on a firm surface or use a rope attached throu-
ght the bore hole in the carrying handle (6) to immerse he pump
in a well or shaft.
- During automatic operation, ensure that the float switch (4) can
move freely.
Plug the power cable (3) into a mains socket.
Adjusting the Cut-in and Cut-out Height: plus the cable of the
float switch (4) into the float switch lock (5).
Do not select a cable length that is too long or short to ensure
that the float switch (4) can turn on and off properly.
- Stand the pump on a firm surface or use a rope attached through
the bore hole the carrying handle (6) to immerse the pump in a
well or shaft.
- Plug the power cable (3) into a mains socket.
- Fix the float switch (4) vertically showed on the left drawing with
the side of cable at the bottom. As long as the float switch is po-
sitionated vertically with the cable at the bottom, the pump will
operate regardless of the water level.
