Preparations
- Remove the original fuel tank (see the Owner's Manual).
Assembly (fuel tank 7810791304404 only)
NOTE:
When mounting the tank on a USA/ZA model of type XCF-W, EXC-F, XC-W as of
MY 2012, the following additional parts are required:
1x 78107088014 fuel pump nut M12
1x 78107088017 fuel connection M8
4x 0017060253 Ejot PT screw K60x25-Z SW="6"
1x 58335099000 hose clamp GEMI 10-16
- Remove the EFI pump (1) from the original fuel tank. To do so, remove
the fuel line, open the fittings (2) to (4) (Figure A) and pull the pump out
of the tank.
- Insert the EFI pump into the new fuel tank.
- Mount the original mounting nut (2) and original fuel connection (3).
Mounting nut (2) M12 (15 Nm)
Fuel connection M8 (3) (10 Nm)
- Mount the EFI pump (1) onto the new fuel tank using the original EJOT-
PT screws (2.5 Nm).
NOTE:
When the pump is mounted, the plug connection (5) must face up (Figure B).
- Mount the fuel line with the hose clamp (included).
Assembly, all fuel tanks
- Mount the tank supports on the radiator (Figure C).

(7) Hex collar screw M6x16 (included)
(8) Radiator bushing
- Cut out the plastic at the marked points (Figures D and E).
- Mount the new fuel tank and screw it into place.
- Connect the fuel line and connect the pump to the wiring harness.
