Equipment and Containment Safeguards
It is the responsibility of the end user to address hazardous exposure risks and to ensure
that people entering the containment area while the product is operating are aware of the
risks, and that appropriate controls and safeguards are in place.
— This product should only be installed by a licensed electrician, and safety measures such as
interlocking devices, lockouts, safety switches or separating on/off switches for the product
from other on/off switches are recommended.
— This product shall be installed on its own electrical safety circuit with disconnecting means
(separate switch) provided by the user. It is the responsibility of the user to ensure that the
power source for this product be accessed only by trained operators and/or a qualified
service technician.
— Wear UV-C blocking eyewear and protective clothing (gloves, long sleeves, etc.) to avoid
direct UV-C exposure to human skin and eyes.
— This fixture is equipped with an IR motion sensor. The sensor provides a 30-second delay
before the lamp will energize. The sensor will also switch off the fixture immediately when
motion is detected in the UV workspace. The fixture will not turn back on itself; it needs to be
powered off and back on again for the fixture to be powered back on.
— A 5-second break is required before switching the product on again right after it switches off,
due to a 3 to 5-second system reset.
— The manual sensitivity feature of the sensor has been disabled by the manufacturer/factory.
The default setting has been set to MAXIMUM sensitivity.
— The workspace should be clear of people and animals during operation.

ASSEMBLY and INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Tools needed:
— Screwdriver
— Multimeter
— 100-277V AC power source with ground wire
— Two wall anchors
— Two anchoring screws with a minimum of one inch in length
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) needed:
— UV-C blocking eyewear and protective clothing (gloves, long sleeves, etc.) to avoid direct
UV-C exposure to human skin and eyes.
