1. Introduction & Features
Thank you for buying the TRCB3! Please read the manual thoroughly before bringing this device into service.
If the device was damaged in transit, don't install or use it and contact your dealer. A 9V battery and a 7.2V 300mAh
battery pack + charger are included.
The TRCB3 is intended only for users aged 14 and up. It is not a toy!
2. Safety Instructions
• Damage caused by disregard of certain guidelines in this manual or by user modifications is not covered by the
warranty and the dealer will not accept responsibility for any ensuing defects or problems.
• Do not store the boat near a heating device or in direct sunlight for an extended period of time.
• Remove all batteries when the TRCB3 is not going to be used for a longer period of time.
• When radio transmission is decreasing, replace the batteries.
• The range of the transmitter will also depend on the environment: buildings, other radio controlled devices or large
metal objects may cause interference. The best results are obtained in an open area.
• Do not accelerate when the boat is not in the water to keep the propeller from damaging anything and being damaged
• Keep this manual for future reference.
• Do not use your TRCB3 on dirty water.

• Make sure both the remote control and the boat are powered off (fig. 1 #2 + fig. 2 #1).
• Boat: loosen the screw (fig.2 #2) and open the battery compartment (fig.2 #3), connect a charged 7.2V 300mAh
Ni-Cd battery pack, insert it into the battery compartment (fig.2 #6) and screw the cover back in place.
• Remote control: open the battery compartment (fig.1 #6) by loosening the screw at the bottom, slide off the cover,
insert one 9V-block ; respect the polarity. Reposition the cover and close it by fastening the screw.
• Do not charge a battery pack in wet or hot circumstances or when the battery pack itself is hot. Always charge
batteries in a well-ventilated area.
• Do not dispose of batteries or a battery pack in fire or water.
• Do not try to charge non-rechargeable batteries and do not overcharge batteries.
• Do not short-circuit battery terminals.
