Description
The configurable digital display DVM-LCD is an indicator without power supply. It is used for displaying the input signal
from 4 to 20 mA. This digital display is designed to be built into the SITRANS field housing. Depending on the orientation
of the housing during installation, it is possible to rotate the digital display inside the housing by 90 degrees. This is done
by arranging the mounting holes symmetrically in the Module. The digital display is fastened to the electronic side of the
field housing with two M4 screws and two distance bolts. There are also two holes in the Module which allow access to
the calibration elements "Z" and "S" on the SITRANS P MKII pressure transmitter without having to disassemble the
digital display. The Module is connected to the field housing by a two-wire cable with an adequate connector. With the
three keys below the display it is possible to configure the digital display DVM-LCD.
The DVM-LCD module is certified as Ex component according to Ex ia and Ex nA protection and is suitable for
installation in Ex devices. The module may only be used in field housing with min. IP54 mechanical protection.
Configuration
All functions can be chosen with mode-key M according to table 1. If the M – key is pressed, the current mode is
displayed in the lower left part of the LCD. If the M – key is pressed again, the mode is increased by one. By pressing the
- key or the
- key, the parameters of actual values or physical units can be changed and displayed on the LCD. The
device will return to the measured value mode when, after pressing the M – key, mode 15 has been exceeded, or if 2
minutes have passed since the last key had been pressed. The set values are stored permanently.
