MEAT SLICER USE
This meat slicer is intended for household use only.
Do not use this appliance for other than its intended use as specified by
Udom S.A.
INSTALLATION
Place the meat slicer on top of a firm, even work surface to prevent vibrations
and oscillations. Install the appliance in a dry place, away from heat sources or
flammable materials.
wARNINg
Keep your hands and other parts of your body away from the circular blade or
other moving parts of the appliance. To ensure safe use of your slicer, always
use the food pusher.
03. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USING
1.Stand upright so that the sliding guide of the meat slicer (Figure 1, point 3) is
perpendicular to your body.
2. Plug the meat slicer into the wall socket.
3. Pull the sliding carriage (7) backwards along the sliding guide (3) and place
the food pusher (6) on the sliding carriage.
4. Place the food to be sliced on the sliding carriage and push it onto the gauge
plate (8) using the food pusher. The food must be smaller than: 110x110x90mm.
5. Select the slice thickness turning the thickness selection knob (10)
at the back of the appliance. Turn the knob clockwise to obtain thinner
slices or counter-clockwise to obtain thicker slices. The knob has marks
indicating thickness in millimetres. Thickness marks range from 0 to 15 mm
(see Figure 2) . Turn power on with the on/off switch (1).
The switch has two positions:
-I (continuous mode): the motor rotates continuously until 0 (stop) is
selected.
-II (intermittent mode): the motor rotates only when you run the appliance on
this 'pulse' position. When you release the switch, it returns to the 0 position
to stop the motor. This is the switch position recommended by Udom S.A. for
greater safety.
