4. BEFORE OPERATION

4.1 Installation
- Required space is approx. 50cm x 50cm (for the float switch to move freely to operate easily).
- Dry-running operation absolutely must be avoided.
- To lift the pump when setting, do use a secure fasten rope.
- Avoid running the pump for more than 10 min after the outlet closed..
- In order to avoid contaminations, the pump should not be placed directly on the ground. It must be hung
freely min. 30 cm above ground, secured to the fastenin rope. Make sure the pump work underwater with
min. 20cm depth.

5. OPERATION

Once connected to the mains, the submersible pump Is automatically switched ON and OFF by the
float switch:
- It starts working when the fluid lifts the float switch fully (1).
- The pump stops working when the float switch falls down (2).
The cable for the float switch can be moved by the cable
holder (3) to adjust the Jistance between the switching ON
and OFF positions:
- Float switch on a short cable distance between the On and
OFF positions are close.
- Float switch on a long cable distance between the On and
OFF positions are far.
Caution!
The float switch must be not able to move in such way
when dry-running.

6. MAINTENANCE

Danger!
Prior to all servicing: Power off and do unplug.

6.1 Periodic maintenance

It's required for periodic maintenance to make the pump perform best when working for each time.
This also applies when the pump works for short period under hard conditions (e.g. when used for
draining).
Year service
1. Check pump parts and cables for damage.
2. Rinse pump with clear water. Remove persistence soiling, e.g. algae desposits, with brush and
dishwashing liquid.
3. To flush the Inside of the pump, place it in to a container filled with clear water and switch ON.

6.2 Pump storage

Caution!
Frost damages the pump and accessories, as both always contain water!
- When there is danger of freezing, remove pump and accessories and keep it at a frost-proof and
dry location.
