PROGRAMMES

Always make sure that you have filled the water tank and the milk tank with
the amount of liquid required for your programme. If in doubt, fill the tank up
to a level between the MIN and MAX marks, as described in the OPERATION
chapter.
Before selecting a programme, place a suitably-sized receptacle on the drip
grid to prevent accidental scalding from hot liquids from the frother. You can
use a coffee cup, mug, or any heat-resistant, food-grade container that fits on
the drip grid.
Always use medium-coarse ground coffee, as the use of fine espresso coffee
powder can block the sieve filter.
Fill the coffee filter or the tea filter no more than the grading curve in order to
ensure that your device will function properly.
Note: Do not use the device in continuous operation. The device is not meant
for continuous operation. The device will become hot in continuous operation.
The automatic cooling will switch on and the device will use water from the
water tank to cool down. It will release the heat as steam from the emergency
steam hole on the front of the device. The drip grid and drip tray are hot. Keep
your distance from the device during auto-cooling and do not touch the device
during the process. Always give the device 15 minutes to cool down between
the individual brewing processes.
Select one of the following programmes to prepare your favourite hot drink.
Note: When selecting the MILK FROTH, MILK TEA, CAFFÈ LATTE or CAPPUCCINO
programme, make sure that the outlet of the frother is in the centre of the
receptacle to avoid accidental scalding from hot liquids.
Each programme stops automatically when preparation is finished. You can stop
it manually by pressing the relevant programme button again. Example: You
have selected the COFFEE programme. Press the COFFEE button again to stop the
programme.
