Filling phase with oil injection

Oil injection can only be performed on A/C
systems that are under a vacuum . The vacuum
phase must therefore be carried out prior to
oil injection .

Before filling the vehicle A/C system with coo-
lant oil, check whether the end of the intake
hose in the fresh oil reservoir reaches to the
bottom of the reservoir .

If a lower value than 00.700 kg is displayed, this is because there is not sufficient coolant in the internal coolant cylinder for filling.

The quantity of coolant oil that may be in-
jected into the vehicle A/C system depends
on the preceding work on the A/C system . As
part of servicing of the vehicle A/C system,
the same quantity of coolant oil is injected
into the A/C system as the quantity of coo-
lant oil recovered in the waste oil reservoir .
When filling a vehicle A/C system for the first
time, note the manufacturer's specified filling
quantity . Only use the specified coolant oil .
The filling weight of the internal coolant cylinder is displayed .
Oil injection phase is active .
Read off oil level in waste oil reservoir and top up the fresh oil re-

servoir with the same quantity of coolant oil (for service work only) .

Hold down button until all the coolant oil has been injected into

the vehicle A/C system .
Complete oil injection .
Filling phase is active .

Use and to set desired filling quantity (e . g . 00 .600 kg) .

For vehicle A/C systems that are only fitted with a low pressure con-

nection, before filling is started the A/C system must be switched
on in the vehicle, the A/C system temperature must be set to its ma-
ximum and the fan must be set to its highest level .
Filling phase is started .
Display flashes for approx . 3 sec .
Coolant is added to A/C system . Display value increases, until the
set filling weight is reached .
Filling weight reached flashes . Filling phase is complete .
The remaining quantity in internal coolant cylinder is displayed . Va-
cuum phase is complete .
