In the list of network components, highlight TCP/IP and click the
Properties button.

On the IP Address tab, make sure that Obtain an IP address
automatically is selected, then click the OK button.

Click the OK button again to save and exit.
Installing TCP/IP and Checking Settings -
Windows NT 4.0
1.
Click Start, select Settings, then click Control Panel.
2.
Double-click the Network icon.
3.
Click on the Protocols tab, then look for TCP/IP Protocol in the
list of network protocols. If TCP/IP Protocol isn't listed, do the
following:
a.
Click the Add button.
b.
Highlight TCP/IP Protocol and click the OK button.
c.
Follow the instructions on the screen. You may be prompted
for your operating system CD-ROM.

In the list of network protocols, highlight TCP/IP Protocol and
click the Properties button.
5.
On the IP Address tab, make sure that Obtain an IP address from
a DHCP server is selected, then click the OK button.
6.
Click the OK button again to save and exit.
Installing TCP/IP and Checking Settings -
Windows 2000
1.
Click Start, select Settings, then click Control Panel.
2.
Double-click on Network and Dial-Up Connections.
3.
Double-click on Local Area Connection.
4.
Click the Properties button.
5.
In the Local Area Connection Properties dialog box, look for
Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) in the list of components. If Internet
Protocol (TCP/IP) isn't listed, do the following:
a.
Click the Install button.
