The CDVI has been designed exclusively for controlling
pneumatic actuators. The limit values stated in the section
"Technical specifications" must be observed here. De-
tailed information can be found in the Pneumatics manual
P.BE-CDVI-... .
Warning
S Switch off the power supply before connecting or
disconnecting plugs (otherwise this could lead to
functional damage).
S Use only power units which guarantee reliable
isolation of the operating voltages as per IEC 742/
EN 60742/VDE 0551 with at least 4 kV isolation resis-
tance (Protected Extra Low Voltage PELV), see adjac-
ent symbol. Switch power packs are permitted, pro-
viding they guarantee reliable isolation in accordance
with EN 60950/VDE 0805.
S Make sure that there is a conductive connection with
sufficient cross-sectional area between the CDVI and
the earthed mounting surface or earthed machine
stand.
Please note
Commission only a valve terminal which has been fitted
and wired completely.
