GENERAL MAINTENANCE
Avoid using solvents when cleaning plastic parts. Most
plastics are susceptible to damage from various types of
commercial solvents and may be damaged by their use. Use
clean cloths to remove dirt, dust, oil, grease, etc.

CHANGING RADIO FUSE
See Figure 10, page 14.
The radio features a 250V/125V 800mA fuse (part no.
SFC0800A/B) located in the AAA battery compartment. If
the radio does not work when the AC power cord is plugged
in or a fully charged battery is installed, the fuse may need
to be replaced.
NOTICE:
Do not use a fuse rated higher than the specified
amperage.
This could cause damage to the product.
Remove battery pack and disconnect the power supply.
Loosen the screw in the AAA battery compartment door.
Remove door and set aside.
Use a coin or flat head screwdriver to remove the fuse
holder.
Remove the old fuse and discard; install new fuse.
Reinstall fuse holder and tighten securely.
Replace the battery door and tighten screw to secure.
