USE
The 1.8 & 2.0 TFSI engine's timing chain sprocket must be pressed on and remain in place before
disassembling the vibration dampener. The vibration dampener is held with the vibration dampener holding
tool before loosening the central screw. The central screw is removed and the tension bolt inserted and
tightened. The vibration dampener can then be removed. The tension bolt remains mounted in the
crankshaft stub or sprocket until the vibration damper is reassembled.
Vibration dampener holding tool (1),
to be used as OEM T10531/1
for pressing the crankshaft vibration dampener (A)
when removing the central screw.
Crankshaft wheel tension bolts (2),
to be used as OEM T10531/2
for pressing the crankshaft wheel in case of
disassembled crankshaft vibration dampener
Adapter piece for crankshaft wheel holding tool (4),
to be used as OEM T10531/4
for aligning the crankshaft wheel holding tool
Nut for crankshaft wheel holding tool (3),
to be used as OEM T10531/3
for tightening the crankshaft wheel holding tool
