If present lower plastic radiator shield or skid plate.
2.
Enlarge six (6) existing holes in frame rails as shown in Figure 1.
3.
Feed blocks and carriage bolts through access hole into position using pull wire.
4.
Raise receiver into position and install conical washers and hex nuts. See Figure 1.
5.
Check clearance of transmission cooler line. Bend or tie back to prevent contact with receiver as shown in Figure 2.
Note: check hitch frequently, making sure all fasteners and ball are properly tightened. A hitch or ball which has been damaged should be removed and replaced.
Observe safety precautions when working beneath a vehicle and wear eye protection. Do not cut access or attachment holes with a torch. Do not cut, weld, or
modify hitch.
