5. Hitch installation – feed the carriage bolt ① and spacer ② through frame rail slot using the pull
wires ⑤. Leave pull wires attached. Raise the hitch and feed pull wire previously installed through
hitch bracket slot. Remove pull wires and loosely install conical washer ③ and hex nut ④ to the
hitch . Reuse factory bumper bolts and loosely fasten them to the hitch, see Figure 1.
6. Tighten all factory M8 fasteners with torque wrench to 27 Lb.-Ft. (37 N*M) and all 7/16'' fasteners to 50 Lb.Ft. (68 N*M).
7. Bottom appearance panel trimming – locate the center of bottom fascia and trim the area as shown in Figure 3. Make
additional trimming if needed.
8. Reinstall the exhaust, fasteners, and bottom appearance panel removed in Step 1, 2.
