1. Bottom appearance panel removal – use 12mm socket to loosen (3) plastic nuts and panel removal tool to remove (5) rivets
from the bottom appearance panel and (1) rivet from bottom fascia tab on passenger side. Remove the bottom appearance panel.
2. Tow hook removal – use 17mm socket to remove (2) bolts from
tow hook on driver side, see Figure 2. Return to vehicle owner.

3. Lowering exhaust – use exhaust removal pliers to lower the exhaust down from rubber isolator on
passenger side. Use a stand to keep muffler from getting damaged.
4. Hitch installation – raise the hitch into position and slide it over passenger side exhaust first.
Loosely install M12 bolts ① and conical washers ② to the hitch, see Figure 1.
