Fasten the buckle by joining parts E, F and G together until a click is heard.
To tighten the safety harness, pull the straps until the correct position is reached.
To loosen, press the adjuster system itself (Item I) (Fig. 3B). Ensure that the straps
and belts of the safety seat are not twisted.
To release your child, press the red button on the buckle.
ALTERING THE POSITION OF THE SHOULDER STRAP
DEPENDING ON YOUR CHILD'S WEIGHT
In the back rest of the safety seat there are three pairs of holes which can be used
to adjust the shoulder straps to suit your childs weight (Fig. 4A).
The lower holes are suitable for children up to a weight of 6 Kgs.
The middle holes are suitable for children between 6 and 12 Kgs.
The upper holes are suitable for children between 12 and 18 Kgs.
To alter the position of the safety belt, you must separate it from the connection
component (Item M) which is placed under the base of the safety seat (Fig. 4B).
Pass the safety belt through the required holes and re-join it at the connection
component.
WARNING
- The safety of the "Ciao Lusso" car safety seat is only guaranteed if it is fitted as
per the above instructions.
- Never leave your child unattended in the safety seat.
- Do not leave any loose objects in the back seat of your car, as they will be dan-
gerous to your child if you brake suddenly.
- Do not make any modifications to the structure of the safety seat, as these
changes can make the seat unsafe and will eliminate the manufacturers respon-
sibility for this product.
- Ensure that all passengers know how to release the child from the safety seat
in the event of an accident.
- If the safety seat is involved in an accident, it must be replaced.
- Ensure that the safety seat, belts or your child cannot be crushed or trapped by
reclining seats or car doors.
- Ensure that your safety belt is secured to the car seat at all times, even when
not in use.
- The safety seat cover can be removed for washing. It must be hand washed in
warm water (30 degrees max.) using a neutral washing liquid. Do not tumble dry
or iron. Do not use solvents.
- If you have any problems regarding the use of your "Ciao Lusso" car safety seat,
please apply to the manufacturer.
