17. Remove the left and right side A­pillar trim panels (1)..
18. Using a trim stick or equivalent, disengage the retain­
ing tabs that secure the rear of the instrument panel
top cover (1) to the instrument panel (2).
19. Pull the instrument panel top cover (1) rearward to dis­
engage the retaining tabs at the front of the cover and
remove the cover.
20. Remove the six fasteners (1) securing the instrument
panel top pad to the structure.
