OPERATiON
WARNiNG:
To reduce the risk of serious personal injuries, read and follow
all important safety warning and instructions before using this tool.
WARNiNG:
Always disconnect battery pack from tool or place the switch
in the locked or off position before any assembly, adjustments or changing of
accessories.

LOCK-OFF BUTTON

The lock-off button (2-FIG 1) is located on the handle above the switch trigger. You must depress the lock-
off button in order to pull the switch trigger. The lock resets each time the trigger is released.
NOTE
: You can depress the lock-off button from either the left or right side.

SWITCH ACTION

CAUTiON
: Before insertion of battery pack, always be sure that the tool is
switched off.
• To start the saw, depress and hold lock-off button, then depress the switch trigger.
• To stop the saw, release the switch trigger.
The variable speed is controlled by the amount of pressure being applied to the
switch. Maximum speed will be obtained when the switch is fully depressed.

INSTALLING OR REMOVING THE BLADES

WARNiNG:
Always disconnect battery pack from tool and place the switch
on "OFF" position before any assembly, adjustments or changing of accessories.
WARNiNG:
This tool is designed to work with T-shank jig saw blades. use
with non-T-shank blades may result in blades coming loose from tool, resulting in
personal injury or property damage.
NOTE
: To obtain the best performance from the saw, it is important to select a
specific blade for the particular application and type of material you wish to cut. By
doing this you will get a smoother, faster cut and prolong blade life.
CAUTiON
: Always clean out all chips or foreign matter adhering to the blade
and/or blade holder. Do not touch the blade or the workpiece immediately after
operation; they may be extremely hot and could burn your skin. Always secure
the blade firmly. insufficient tightening of the blade may cause blade breakage or
serious personal injury.
To install the blade
1. Remove the battery pack.
2. Depress the blade clamp (spring loaded) as far as it
will go in the direction as shown on FIG 2.
3. With the blade teeth facing forward, insert the blade
into the blade holder as far as it will go.
4. Check to make sure the back edge of the blade is
positioned properly in the groove of the roller guide.
5. Release the blade clamp. The blade should be now securely fastened.
6. Insert the battery pack.
