After the preparation process
Take hold of the portafilter by the handle and turn it to the left to remove it from the
machine.
Lift up the filter holder and tap on the filter to remove the coffee grounds.
To make another coffee, fill the filter again and proceed as instructed above.
If you do not want to make any further drinks, switch the machine off (switch position 0)
and unplug from the mains.
If there is any milk left in the pitcher, remove the milk pitcher by pulling it forwards at a
slight angle. Store the milk pitcher in the door of your refrigerator.
The filter insert and portafilter can be stored on the back of the machine.

Cleaning the appliance
WARNING!
Risk of electric shock.
There is a risk of electric shock due to live parts.
Never immerse the appliance in liquids!
The plug must be disconnected from the mains socket before
cleaning (pull on the plug, not on the cable).
CAUTION!
Risk of injury!
There is a risk of scalding due to the hot surfaces. The outside of
the machine will become hot during operation.
Allow the machine to cool down completely before cleaning it.
CAUTION!
Risk of damage to the appliance.
Property damage due to improper use.
Do not use chemical solutions and cleaning products because
these may damage the surface and/or the inscriptions on the
product.
Do not wash the machine parts in the dishwasher.
Wash the water container, milk pitcher, milk pitcher lid, steam nozzle, wand, pull-out shelf,
drip tray grate, drip tray and portafilter thoroughly with water and mild detergent. Rinse
the parts well with clean water and dry them carefully.
Wipe the surfaces of the machine with a soft and slightly damp cloth which has been
soaked in a mild soap solution.
Wipe the bottom of the brew head with a damp cloth or paper towel to remove any
remaining coffee grounds.
