INDICATIONS
• May be used for moderate to severe finger
spasticity or contractures
CONTRAINDICATIONS
• Not for use if uncontrolled edema or open
sores are present
PRECAUTIONS
• The splint should fit snugly and comfortably
without interfering with circulation.
• If unusual swelling, skin discoloration, or
discomfort occurs, use should be
discontinued and a healthcare professional
consulted.
CARE AND CLEANING
Fasten strap. Hand wash fabric in warm water and
mild soap. Do not wring. Dry at room temperature.

Be sure the splint is completely dry before
reapplying it.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
1. Place the thumb through the thumb holes in
both the splint and the thumb pad (A).
2. Open the fingers of the affected hand as far
as possible. If the hand is extremely tight, fold
the splint and slide it into the hand.
3. Line up the splint so it fits into the palm and
the finger separators are in position to slide
between the fingers.
4. Beginning with the index finger, slip the
fingers into position on the splint with the
separators upright between the fingers (B). If
necessary, pull gently on the finger
separators.

5. Bring the end of the strap across the hand
and secure it to the hook piece on the little
finger side.
6. If necessary, the material can be trimmed for
proper fit. Be careful to trim only to the
stitching (C).

Do not trim the finger separators.
7. Check for proper positioning. The thumb
should be on the outer surface of the thumb
pad and the fingers should rest on the palm
piece with the separators between them (D).
