Fabric/Effect
Light, thin fabric: Silk, satin, taffeta, lining
cloth, poplin etc.
Ordinary fabric: Light cotton fabric,
medium thickness cotton fabric, warm
clothes etc.
Knitted fabric: Sweaters, Polo fabric, warp
knitted fabric etc.
Thick knitted fabric: Shirt fabric, thick
cuffs, knitwear etc.
Stretch ripple effect: Medium and
lightweight fabric ,Sports shirt, Knitwear,
The sleeves and collar hem ,Skirt hem etc.
Crimp: Thin cloth and lace hem, the
edge of a blouse , shirt, skirt, edge of the
pocket, ribbon, lapel, cuff edge etc.
TO SET THE DIFFERENTIAL FEED ADJUSTING
•
Set differential feed adjusting lever knob below
graduation "1.0".Setting of adjusting lever knob
depends on material being sewn as well as the
amount of gather therefore set knob to suit the
fabric and test sew before sewing your garment.
•
When feed regulating dial is set "3" or over, the
amount of feed of the main feed dog will change
to "3" automatically when adjusting lever knob
is set to 2.0 Note: For normal overedge stitching,
set differential feed adjusting lever knob to
graduation "1.0".
