1. Product description
The gardigo Solar cat and dog repeller provides a convenient, effective
and humane way to deter cats or dogs from your garden, yard and lawn
without harm. This product utilizes a sophisticated PIR (passive infra-
red) detection system to monitor a large area up by up to approximately
7 m. When an animal enters the area covered by the infrared sensor, the
Solar cat and dog repeller produces an ultrasonic sound at a frequency of
about 23 KHz that is very unpleasant to animals but inaudible to the hu-
man ear. In addition to the noise the unit emits, the product also emits
a flashing light to further ward off unwanted animals. There is no need
to change the batteries on this product for Solar cat and dog repeller
operates on solar power.

5. Further important information
The unit emits ultrasonic sound which is inaudible to the human ear.
These generated sound waves become unpleasent for cats and dogs.
In the first step, cats and dogs perceives the sound unconsciously. De-
pending on the individual sense of hearing and resiliance of every ani-
mal, the emitted soundwaves become unpleasent after 2 hours or 2
weeks. When the ultrasonic soundwaves in this area continue, the cats
and dogs will leave this place and search for a more pleasent and quiet
surrounding.
6. How to install
1. Determine the location you want to place the unit.
2. Using a pencil, mark the center of where you would like the screw to
be placed and have a drill bit a little smaller than the closed end of the
plastic anchor ready.
3. Using the drill bit, drill a hole through the center of your mark and
about as deep as the anchor is long.
4. Using a hammer or rubber mallet, gently tap the anchor until it is
flush with the wall.
5. Insert the screw and slowly rotate it into the anchor leaving about 1/8
or 1/4 of the screw out to hang the Solar cat and dog repeller.
The Solar cat and dog repeller has three switch settings which are loca-
ted on the bottom of the unit housing.
• O N1: When the motion sensor is triggered, the unit will produce a
high pitched ultrasonic frequency in conjunction with a strobe
light to ward away unwanted animals for 20 seconds.
• O FF: Charging the unit by sunlight is working.
• ON2: When the motion sensor is triggered, the unit will produce a
high pitched ultrasonic frequency to ward away unwanted ani-
mals for 20 seconds.
