CAUTION
Do not install the washing machine on a carpeted surface. The base opening must not be obstructed by carpeting when

the washing machine has to be installed on a carpeted floor. Installing the washing machine incorrectly may cause fire or
electric shock.
Do not install the washing machine in humid spaces where there is a risk of electric shock. Doing so may result in death,
y
fire, electric shock or injury.
Avoid direct light and humidity and install it in a space with thorough ventilation.
y
Do not install or store the washing machine in a cold space (below freezing temperature). Some parts may freeze, and the
y
washing machine may not operate properly.
Do not install this washing machine for use on any mode of transportation, such as ships or airplanes.

At least two people are required to move or install this washing machine, because it is heavy.
y
Do not install or use the washing machine in the vicinity of heated appliances such as stoves, or near flammable gas or any
y
other inflammables doing so may cause explosion or electric shock.
Do not install this washing machine in a moist place, or in the vicinity of splashing water. Doing so may cause electric

shock.
Make sure to check for any leakage or noise in the test run after installation.

When removing the washer from the carton base, be sure to remove the foam tub support in the middle of the carton base.

If you must lay the washer down to remove the base packaging materials, always lay it carefully on its side. DO NOT lay the
washer on its front or back
