NOTE:
This main silencer was added to the vehicle homologation for EXC/F models

beginning with model year 2012 and is thus approved for use on public roads.
However, this only applies if the vehicle is ridden with the homologized tuning
(condition of delivery to the dealer).
When using the main silencer on a dethrottled vehicle with open mapping,

the spark arrestor must be replaced by the additionally supplied spark arres-
tor insert SXS07250518.
Otherwise, there is a danger of engine damage.
Cannot be mounted together with the frame protection set 77303094100/04
on EXC 08-11 and SX 07-10. Solutions are to remove the entire frame pro-
tector or to cut out the heat protector (heel protector).

Main silencer fixation
- Remove the standard main silencer (see the Owner's Manual).
- Attach the supplied retaining clamps to the main silencer (photo A).

- Connect the titanium main silencer with the factory header and attach it using
the supplied screws and retaining clamps.
The screw for the front retaining clamp is an M6x25 with washer DIN125 A6.4.
The screw for the rear retaining clamp is an M6x40 with washer DIN125 A6.4.
- Attach the exhaust spring (included).
- Set up the entire exhaust system and tighten all fixing screws.

Ensure that the plastic trim does not rub against the main silencer. If it does,
attach the supplied spacer (C) to the inside of the plastic trim. Attach the
spacer in such a way that it presses against the carbon clamp and not against
the main silencer. Otherwise it will melt!
When using the main silencer for the first time, the engine rpm must be kept
low for roughly the first 5 minutes to evenly heat the main silencer. This ensu-
res that the rock wool will be fully effective and will be able to keep the volume
down to the required level.
Maintenance
The rock wool of the main silencer must be replaced every 15 hours during
competitive riding and every 30 hours during hobby riding. (For rock wool
