6. Upon battery replacement, deactivate the unit by pressing and holding the power
button for 3 seconds. Disconnect both ends of the Male-Male DC cord and store for
future use.
Note: If the unit is powered and idle for 4 hours, it will automatically turn off.
Checking the Memory Saver's Charge Status
To check the unit's internal state of charge and its readiness to perform it's intended
task, press and hold the Power Button down for 3 seconds. The Internal Status
Indicators below the Power Button will provide information as to the unit's state of
charge:
• Green indicates the unit is at or near a fully charged state and ready for use.
• Yellow indicates that the unit is between 50-75% state of charge. It should
be charged soon. In this state, its ability to supply power will be limited in
duration.
• Red indicates that the unit is below 50% state of charge and should be
charged immediately.
• No lights showing means that the unit is severely discharged. It should be
charged immediately and completely to reduce the chance of sulfation build-
up, which would rob it of its reserve capacity.
Note: Please charge your unit immediately upon purchase, after each use and
every 30 days when not in use to keep the Memory Saver's internal
battery charged for long service life.
Recharging Your Memory Saver
Note: The Memory Saver should be idle and disconnected from all power drains
when recharging is performed.
1. Plug the provided AC/DC adapter into a properly grounded 120VAC wall outlet.
2. Plug the small charging jack on the end of the AC/DC adapter cord into the
charging port on the left of the front of the unit.
