Bitte nehmen Sie sich die Zeit, die Gebrauchsanweisung in Ruhe durchzulesen und
benutzen Sie das Gerät in der beschriebenen Form. Beachten Sie alle enthaltenen Si-
cherheits- und Bedienungshinweise. Sollten Sie Fragen oder Anregungen zu diesem

1. Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung
Dieses Gerät ist zum Vertreiben von Mäusen und Ratten konzipiert. Es erzeugt Schall-
wellen von 35.000 Hz, die Mäuse als unangenehm empfinden. Es wird in Wohnräumen
verwendet und direkt in die Wandsteckdose gesteckt. Eine andere Verwendung als die
angegebene ist nicht zulässig!
2. Sicherheitshinweise
• Elektrogeräte, Verpackungsmaterial usw. gehören
nicht in den Aktionsbereich von Kindern. Kinder
sollten nicht mit dem Gerät spielen.
• Gerät nur mit der dafür vorgesehenen Spannung be-
treiben: 220 – 240 V~; 50 – 60 Hz
• Bei evtl. Reparaturen sollten nur Original-Ersatz-
teile verwendet werden, um ernsthafte Schäden zu
vermeiden.
• In jedem Fall ist zu prüfen, ob das Gerät für den jewei-
ligen Einsatzort geeignet ist.
• Dieses Gerät ist nur für den Gebrauch im Innenbe-
reich geeignet.
• Das Gerät muss gegen Feuchtigkeit, Nässe, extre-
me Kälte und Hitzeeinwirkung geschützt werden.
• Dieses Gerät kann von Kindern ab 8 Jahren und Per-
sonen mit eingeschränkten körperlichen, sensori-
schen oder geistigen Fähigkeiten oder Mangel an
Erfahrung oder Wissen verwendet werden, wenn
sie von einer qualifizierten Person, die für die Si-
cherheit verantwortlich ist, beaufsichtigt werden
oder von ihr bezüglich des sicheren Umgangs des
Geräts unterwiesen wurden und sie die daraus re-
sultierenden Gefahren verstanden haben.
• Bitte entfernen Sie keine Aufkleber vom Gerät, wel-
che sicherheitsrelevante Hinweise enthalten.
• Sollte das Gerät Beschädigungen aufweisen, dann
stellen Sie die Nutzung des Gerätes ein. Schalten
Sie die Sicherung am Sicherungskasten aus und
ziehen Sie erst dann den Stecker aus der Steckdose.
• Halten Sie das Gerät nie direkt an Ihr Ohr. Ultra-
schall können Menschen zwar nicht hören, aber es
herrscht ein hoher Schalldruck, der über einen län-
geren Zeitraum das Ohr belasten kann.

4. Inbetriebnahme
Die Gardigo Mäuse-Abwehr sendet Töne aus, die Mäuse und Ratten als unangenehm
empfinden. Sie werden nach angenehmeren Aufenthaltsorten suchen. Dazu wird das
Gerät einfach in eine Steckdose gesteckt. Wir empfehlen das Gerät auch präventiv ein-
zusetzen. Beim Einsatz gegen Mäuse und Ratten sind folgende Maßnahmen zu be-
achten:

• Wählen Sie eine Steckdose, die nach vorne hin mindestens 1 m frei von Hindernis-
sen ist. Bringen Sie das Gerät nicht hinter Möbeln, Vorhängen oder anderen Gegen-
ständen an. Die Schallwellen müssen sich ungehindert ausbreiten können.
• Die Ausbreitung der Schallwellen ist abhängig von den räumlichen Gegebenheiten

und der Platzierung des Steckers.
• Die Mäuse-Abwehrerzeugt eine Frequenz von 35.000 Hz. Diese Frequenz kann nicht
von Menschen gehört werden. Mäuse und Ratten reagieren auf diese Frequenz
allerdings weitaus empfindlicher und können das Geräusch noch in 4 m deutlich
wahrnehmen. Deshalb deckt der Mäuse-Feind eine Fläche von ca. 25 m² ab.
Hinweis: Sie können die Ultraschall-Töne nicht hören, das Gerät kann jedoch mittels
LED-Anzeige als Betriebsbereit erkannt werden.
Hinweis: Die Reaktion der jeweiligen Tiere auf unsere Geräte kann variieren. Die Ent-
wicklung unserer Geräte, Methoden und Anwendungs-Tipps basieren auf Erfahrun-
gen, Tests und dem Feedback unserer Kunden. Deshalb ist die Tiervertreibung in den
meisten Fällen erfolgreich.

6. Allgemeine Hinweise
• Die CE-Konformität wurde nachgewiesen, die entsprechenden Erklärungen sind
bei uns hinterlegt.
• Aus Sicherheits- und Zulassungsgründen, ist es nicht erlaubt, dieses Gerät umzubau-
en und/oder zu verändern oder einer nicht-sachgemäßen Verwendung zuzuführen.
• Es ist zu beachten, dass Bedien- oder Anschlussfehler oder Schäden, die durch
Nichtbeachtung der Bedienungsanleitung entstehen, außerhalb des Einfluss-
bereichs der Marke Gardigo liegen und für daraus resultierende Schäden keinerlei
Haftung übernommen werden kann. Dies gilt auch dann, wenn Veränderungen oder
Reparaturversuche an dem Gerät vorgenommen wurden, Schaltungen abgeändert
oder andere Bauteile verwendet wurden oder in anderer Weise Fehlbedienungen,
fahrlässige Behandlung oder Missbrauch zu Schäden geführt haben. In diesen Fällen
erlischt auch die Garantie.

through the manual and follow all safety and operational instructions in order to

1. Designated use
This device is designed to repel mice and rats. It emits sound waves of 35.000 Hz, a
frequency that mice and rats find irritating. It is used indoors and inserted directly into
the wall socket. Any other use as the mentioned is not permitted!
2. Safety instructions
• Electrical appliances, packaging materials, etc. do
not belong in the hands of children.
• The device may only be used with the stated volt-
age: 220 – 240 V~; 50 – 60 Hz
• Repairs may only be made with original spare parts
to avoid serious damage. If original parts are not
used the device can become dangerous and warran-
ty and CE become invalid.
• It must be determined if the device is suitable for
the respective use.
• The use of this device is not designed for use by per-
sons (including children under 8 years) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or the lack
of experience or lack of knowledge, unless they are
supervised or have been instructed in the use of the
device by a person responsible for their safety.
• This unit is suitable for indoor use only.
• The device must be protected from dampness, ex-
treme cold and heat. Make sure that the device has
sufficient ventilation.
• Do not remove any stickers from this device. The
sticker may contain important safety information.
• If the device should show any signs of damage or
malfunction, do not use it. Before touching it, first
disconnect the fuse in the central fuse box and then
pull the device out of the socket.
• Never hold the device directly to your ear. Humans
cannot hear ultrasonic frequencies, but they might
the device emits at a high volume and then there-
fore it might be harmful, if the ear is exposed to
them over a longer period.

4. Getting started
The Gardigo Mouse-Repellent emits an ultrasonic sound that is a disturbance for mice
and rats. Just plug the device into a wall socket. For a successful use. please read the
following instructions carefully:
• Select a wall socket that has no obstructions in front of it in a distance of at least
1 m. Do not use sockets behind sofas, curtains or other furniture. The sound has to
be able to distribute itself throughout the room without any obstruction.
• The distribution of the sound in the room depends on the room, the interior and
the positioning of the device.
• The Gardigo Mouse-Repellent emits a frequency of 35.000 Hz. This frequency can-
not be heard by humans. Mice and rats can hear this frequency, even at a distance
of 4 m. Therefore the Mouse-Repeller can cover an area of approximately 25 m².
Note: The ultrasonic sound cannot be heard by humans, but the device will indicate
its correct operation through the LED.

6. General information
• The CE conformity has been proven and the declarations are deposited with us.
• For safety and conformity reasons it is not permitted to rebuild or modify the de-
vice and/or use it in any other way than described above.
• This device has a warranty of two years. As Gardigo has no control of the cor-
rect of appropriate installation and use of the device the warranty can only
be applied to a fully equipped device in prime condition. We assume nei-
ther warranty nor liability for damages or following damages related to this
product. This applies especially if it has been modifications or repairs have been
made by the customer, if the circuitry has been modified or components have been
used other than the original components and/or if the operation of the device has
been incorrect, careless or abusive.

Environmental protection notice
At the end of its life span this product may not be disposed as normal
household waste but must be disposed of at a collecting place for recy-
cling of electrical and electronic equipment. The icon on the product, in the
manual, or on the packing points to this fact. The materials are recyclable
according to their labelling. Through reusing, material recycling, or other
forms of utilisation of old devices you make an important contribution to
the protection of the environment. Please ask the local administration for
the responsible waste disposal centre.

Ce dispositif est conçu pour chasser les souris et rats. Les ondes sonores de 35.000 Hz
qu'il émet incommodent les souris et rats. C'est pourquoi elles éviteront la zone
d'émission de l'ultrason. Toute utilisation autre que celle prévue est interdite !
2. Consignes de sécurité et avertissements
• Gardez les appareils électriques, matériaux d'em-

• N'utilisez le dispositif qu'avec la tension désignée.
• Pour les réparations, n'utilisez que des pièces de re-
change d'origine.

adapté à l'endroit où vous désirez l'installer.
• Ce dispositif ne convient pas pour une utilisation
par des personnes (y compris les enfants de moins
de 8 ans) dont les capacités physiques, sensorielles
ou mentales sont réduites, ou qui manquent d'ex-
périence ou de connaissances dans ce domaine, à
moins qu'elles ne soient surveillées par une per-
sonne responsable de leur sécurité lors de l'utilisa-
